This beautiful example of the IWC Portuguese was initially released in 2004 until about 2010. Although this is not considered a limited edition, this is certainly a rare bird in addition to be considered a collector’s timepiece. Powered by a self winding caliber 51011 movement, this Portuguese has an incredible 168hr power reserve. This particular movement was upgraded from the 51010 movement in 2007.
This is a complete set, double boxed, with all original paperwork and was purchased from its original owner. The condition of both the timepiece and the strap is excellent. Minimal wear is noted on the clasp and case, otherwise the crystal is flawless. This was a collector’s timepiece, was stored in the safe and rarely worn since its purchase in 2008. Though there is no recent service paperwork, timegraphing metrics prove that the movement is in excellent health. This suggests that there has been recent maintenance on the timepiece. Additionally, time keeping is excellent, as to be expected due to a healthy movement.
