The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Alinghi, reference 311.92.44.30.01.002, was built to honor Omega’s partnership with the Alinghi sailing team. It is one of the most heavily reworked Speedmasters the brand has made. The 44mm black zirconium oxide ceramic case is matte, light, and scratch resistant, and the whole watch takes its cues from the team’s TF35 racing catamaran. The skeletonised dial shows the Caliber 1865 laser ablated with a honeycomb effect on the mainplate and a black carbon pattern across the bridges. The Alinghi logo sits in red varnish on the chronograph pusher, and the six o’clock subdial hand is replaced by a rotating anodized disc carrying the red Alinghi logo. A four and five minute regatta countdown runs in red at three.

The 44.25mm black ceramic case has a tachymeter bezel and a domed sapphire crystal, on the perforated black rubber strap with a red rubber interior. Hand wound Caliber 1865 with 48 hours of power reserve, visible through the transparent caseback engraved Dark Side of the Moon, Team Alinghi. Water resistant to 50 meters.
