The way I check if the seller is reputable is I play a detective when I try to get as much information about the seller as possible.
I like to use trupeoplesearch.com or google to get to know the seller. If the seller is legit, they do not mind sharing their social media profiles with me or even hopping on the facetime call. Also, I like to exchange IDs as well.
