Serviced Omega Speedmaster Professional ‘Pre-Moon’ DO90 Bezel, Ref. 145.022-69ST

Condition: Good, pre-owned vintage condition. Serial numbers may have been obscured for privacy. A needed service was just completed in September 2024 and is now under a two year warranty with the certified watchmaker who provided the service. Records will be provided to new owner. All parts removed have been retained and replaced with only authentic Omega parts (see photos).

Contents: Watch with Chronograph & Guarantee booklets. Also included are old parts removed during last service – pushers, crown, and spring bars.

This watch was procured from the original owner and at that time there was only one watchmaker ‘mark’ inside the casebook from a prior service. The pristine 861 movement is virtually untouched and shows in the photos.

A true collector’s gem, this Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 is one of the last “Pre-Moon” models, featuring the iconic calibre 861 movement. Manufactured in 1969, this reference predates the Moon landing caseback and retains the original Ω hippocampus engraving.

Dial: Original stepped dial with applied Omega logo, Tritium hour markers, and a beautifully aged patina.
Case: 42mm stainless steel case, sharp lyre lugs, and the signature asymmetrical design for added protection to the crown and pushers. Case appears to be unpolished.
Movement: Omega calibre 861 manual-wind chronograph movement, a robust and accurate timekeeper.
Crystal: Hesalite crystal with distinctive Omega logo in the center.
Caseback: Pre-moon engraving with the seahorse medallion, confirming its status as one of the last Speedmasters before the Moon landing caseback was introduced.
Bezel: Original ‘Dot Over 90’ (DO90) bezel
Bracelet: Period correct No. 12 bracelet with ’47’ end links

The watch is in good vintage condition, with signs of wear, but is running now as it did when brand new. This is a must-have for any serious Omega enthusiast and collector.
