The 5990/1A-001 is the Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph in stainless steel — arguably the most technically resolved reference in the Nautilus family, combining an in-house flyback-adjacent column wheel chronograph with an instantaneous-jump travel time mechanism in a 40.5mm cushion case at 12.53mm thin. The black dial carries applied luminescent hour markers, baton hands, a central chronograph seconds hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, date aperture at 6 o’clock, and a second independently adjustable 12-hour hand for the home time zone — each zone paired with its own day/night indicator. The sapphire caseback reveals the in-house self-winding caliber CH 28-520 C FUS: column wheel chronograph, 34 jewels, 28,800 vph (4 Hz), approximately 55-hour power reserve, 370 components. The integrated stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp echoes the Nautilus’s signature horizontal embossed pattern. Water resistance 120m.
