Introduced as the first stainless steel Nautilus to house an annual calendar complication, reference 5726A-001 unites classic porthole-inspired architecture with refined mechanical utility. The charcoal grey dial presents horizontal Nautilus embossing framed by a subtle black-gradient rim, accented with luminescent white gold baton hour markers and matching hands.

The dial presents the patented annual calendar complication across neatly balanced apertures, positioning day and month side by side above the central pinion. At six o’clock, an integrated subdial hosts the moon phase alongside a 24-hour indicator, while the date aperture anchors the display. This intelligent configuration requires manual adjustment only once each year at the close of February.

Beating beneath the sapphire-crystal display back is the self-winding mechanical calibre, measuring 33.3 mm across and 5.8 mm in thickness. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it incorporates a central rotor in 21K gold, a Gyromax balance, and a Spiromax balance spring. Hallmarked with the Patek Philippe Seal, the movement provides between 35 and 45 hours of power reserve.

The stainless steel case measures 40.5 mm across from ten to four o’clock and sits at 11.3 mm in thickness. Built with a screw-down crown delivering 30 metres of water resistance, the watch retains its signature lateral hinges alongside brushed and polished surfaces. Mounted on a hand-stitched alligator leather strap with a steel fold-over clasp, it delivers balanced proportions and superb comfort on the wrist.
