The Daytona in solid 18-carat yellow gold with the factory black diamond dial is among the most striking executions of this reference — a 40mm yellow gold Oyster case with a fixed engraved yellow gold tachymetric bezel, presenting a lacquered black dial set with eight factory brilliant-cut diamond hour markers. Champagne-rimmed black chronograph sub-registers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock contrast beautifully with the dark field, while polished yellow gold hands with luminous fill deliver immediate legibility. The Triplock hex-threaded crown and hex-threaded push-pieces are protected by yellow gold crown guards. Presented on a polished and brushed 18-carat yellow gold Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock folding safety clasp and Easylink 5mm comfort extension system. The in-house 4130 is a self-winding column-wheel vertical clutch chronograph with blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, containing 44 jewels, certified as a Superlative Chronometer to −2/+2 seconds per day, and delivering approximately 72 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 100 meters.
