Up for sale here is a very cool piece of customized horology. This timepiece started out it’s life as a normal steel Rolex Daytona 116520, but was modified by the artists at Skeleton Concept into the beautiful piece you see here.
This particular design was made at the request of the F1 racer Pastor Maldonado- and was such a good looking piece that they made a 27 piece limited run. Unlike some of the other designs, this one utilizes the fully original case and bracelet. The finishing has been modified to a matte texture on the side, and the PCLs were eliminated by fully brushing the bracelet!
When the standard Daytonas feel a bit boring, these type of customized pieces are the next step in a watch collections evolution.
Comes with the box and metal card from Skeleton Concept as seen.
