A contemporary reimagining of a wandering hours complication first introduced by the manufacture in the 1990s, the CODE 11.59 Starwheel is a 41mm timepiece measuring 10.7mm in thickness — its two-tone case pairing a black ceramic mid-case and crown with an 18-carat white gold bezel, lugs, and exhibition caseback. The deep blue aventurine dial evokes a shimmering night sky, across which three black PVD-coated aluminium discs bearing Arabic hour numerals rotate continuously in a 120-degree arc — telling the time in a display that is simultaneously poetic and technically exacting. An 18-carat white gold minute hand sweeps the peripheral track. Presented on a textured black rubber-coated strap with 18-carat white gold pin buckle, all beneath a double glareproofed sapphire crystal and matching glareproofed caseback. The in-house 4310 is a self-winding movement containing 32 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 30 meters.
