The Tradition 7097 is a 40mm 18-carat white gold timepiece measuring 11.65mm in thickness — a refined evolution of the front-dial Tradition philosophy with the added mechanical complexity of a retrograde seconds complication. The anthracite movement is fully displayed on the front of the watch, with a reduced silvered gold sub-dial at 12 o’clock hand-engraved on a rose engine bearing Roman numeral hour markers and open-tipped Breguet hands. The retrograde seconds hand at 10 o’clock sweeps an arc before springing instantaneously back to zero — a ballistic reset achieved through a precisely calibrated jumper spring mechanism. A sapphire exhibition caseback provides a view of the movement from the reverse. Presented on a blue gator leather strap with white gold tang buckle. The self-winding 505SR1 is an anthracite movement featuring a silicon Breguet balance spring, comprising 249 components and 38 jewels, beating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz), and delivering approximately 50 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 30 meters.
