Glashutte Original PanoInverse XL 42mm in 18k White Gold, Full set 2008!

What a watch! This is one of those pieces that makes you stop and stare- looking at it for a long periods without even checking what the time is. The PanoInverse is a manual wind piece without a dial- almost as if they knew how beautiful their movements were and wanted to show them off a bit more! Ref. 66-01-04-14-05.

The alternating Glashutte ribbing shimmers as light shifts across the face of the watch- a completely different look than any other timepiece. But it’s the hand engraved balance cock that steals the show- positioned all the way from 3 to 6 o’clock, with dual swan’s neck regulators set on top.

What’s really great about this one is that it is cased entirely in 18k white gold! I don’t have the production numbers, but it is very curious that while there are plenty of steel and even platinum examples on the market, the white gold ones are few and far between.

It’s watches like this that make me glad I’m in the business!
