The Glashutte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase, reference 1-36-04-01-02-30, is the manufacture’s flagship dress watch, presented here in a 40mm stainless steel case with a varnished silver-grainé dial. The signature big Panorama Date sits at four o’clock, a moon phase floats between ten and eleven, and blued hands sweep over laser-engraved numerals and a galvanised black chapter ring.

The 40mm stainless steel case is 12.2mm thick, on the black Louisiana alligator strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. Inside is the in-house Calibre 36-04, an automatic with a silicon balance spring, a skeletonized rotor with a 21k gold oscillation weight, and the Glashutte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, delivering a 100-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 50 meters.
