Inspired by pocket watches converted to wristwatches in the early 1920s, the Heritage Centre Seconds is a 42mm stainless steel timepiece measuring 11.1mm in thickness — distinguished by its wire-style lugs that evoke the soldered attachments of the era. The “Funky Blue” fumé dial is one of the manufacture’s most celebrated signatures, shifting from pale azure at the center to deep cobalt at the edges, presented without indices — replaced instead by three-dimensional Globolight® ceramic hour markers injected with SuperLumiNova for a brighter and longer-lasting afterglow than conventional luminescent paint. Sword-shaped hands and a sweeping centre seconds hand complete the minimalist dial. A sapphire exhibition caseback and a large crown engraved with the “M” logo round out the design. Presented on a beige kudu leather strap with steel pin buckle. Retailing at approximately 16,900 USD, this example is offered meaningfully below current retail. The in-house HMC 200 is a self-winding movement with a Straumann hairspring produced by the manufacture’s sister company, containing 27 jewels, beating at 21,600 vph, and delivering a minimum of 72 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 30 meters.
