Its commanding 46.2 mm stainless steel case houses the IWC-manufactured Calibre 52110 automatic movement, renowned for its efficient Pellaton winding system and impressive 7-day (168-hour) power reserve. The black dial features luminous Arabic numerals, a power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock, and a date display at 6 o’clock, ensuring optimal legibility. A soft-iron inner case provides protection against magnetic fields, while the convex sapphire crystal is secured against displacement due to drops in air pressure. The watch is completed with a black calfskin strap and a distinctive conical crown, echoing its aviation heritage.
