The Reference 5205 was introduced in 2010 within Patek Philippe’s Complications collection, launching in two white gold versions, of which the 5205G-010 is one. The 40mm 18K white gold case measures 11.36mm thick and features a concave bezel, hollowed flanks, and skeletonized lugs, with water resistance to 30 meters. The black and slate grey dial carries applied hour markers, with the moon phase and 24-hour indication at 6 o’clock. It is powered by the self-winding Caliber 324 S QA LU 24H/206, visible through a sapphire crystal case back, using Patek Philippe’s patented annual calendar mechanism that requires one manual correction per year, at the end of February. This 2015 example is supplied with box and papers and is fitted to an unbranded black alligator strap with the original Patek Philippe 18K white gold pin buckle.
