1938 Rolex Prince “Tiger Stripe” two tone 18k yellow and white gold

Up for sale here is an incredibly rare Rolex Prince, cased in two-tone white and yellow gold stripes. Also known as the flared case, Brancard case, Striped, Tiger Stripe, doctor’s watch, etc. Ref. 971.

Whatever you want to call it, watches like this do not come up often for sale. The serial number dates it to 1938- and honestly I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a watch this age in such fine condition.

The watch is running, accuracy.

Comes with the original Prince box, and is mounted on a newer leather strap with the Plaque G coronet buckle.
