Reissued in 2022 to mark the brand’s 222nd anniversary, the Historiques 222 revives a design first introduced in 1977 — one of the three defining luxury integrated-bracelet sports watches of its era, now reinterpreted in 18-carat yellow gold rather than the debut model’s steel. The 37mm monobloc tonneau-shaped case measures just 7.95mm in thickness, with a brushed and polished fluted bezel and a palladium white gold Maltese cross at 5 o’clock paying homage to the manufacture’s heritage. The matte champagne dial features applied yellow gold hour markers and luminescent baton hands, with a quick-set date aperture at 3 o’clock, all beneath sapphire crystals front and back. Presented on a fully integrated yellow gold bracelet with hexagonal central links and a triple-fold clasp. The in-house 2455/2 is an ultra-thin self-winding movement bearing the Hallmark of Geneva, with a yellow gold central rotor, comprising 194 parts and 27 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and delivering approximately 40 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 50 meters.
