Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar Moonphase Steel, 40mm Full Set! 2021

Sometimes a timepiece just takes your breath away with its beauty. Glashutte Original is well known as the manufacture of amazing dials, seen on watches such as Nomos, A. Lange & Sohne, and of course their own watches. This one is no exception. The Panomatic lineup has a few different variants, and this one with fine matte galvanized silver is what I believe the most elegant.

And case in stainless steel at 40mm with 50m of water resistance, this is truly a watch that bridges the gap between formal luxury and every day wear. It is very well suited for all occasions, whether it be in a suit or a t-shirt.

What really sets a timepiece like this one apart from the crowd are the little details.

A perfectly mirrored surface for the moon.

Dual date wheels to change one number at a time, cycling in an instant click precisely at midnight.

Incredible finishing of the movement, including the micro rotor and ornate bridge.

Two swan neck regulators.

If you can stop looking at the face, turn it over and see the 90-02 movement through the caseback. Truly remarkable! I tried to capture the details in photos, but the craftsmanship and decades of heritage can really only be appreciated while holding it in your hand.

The features this watch exhibits are usually present only on 50k+ pieces; I’m really not too sure how Glasshutte Original gets away with selling these at the numbers they do!

Comes as a full set as shown, with the warranty papers dated in 2021, and is in excellent condition.
