The Dewitt Antipode “Répétition Minutes” Tourbillon GMT gives a new meaning to the word “complication.” This model is equipped with three of the highest-caliber complications, fully integrated into a single dual-sided movement.

Most noticeable is the Tourbillon, the cage of which can be seen rotating on the front side at 6 o’clock. The front side alone is enough to make this piece unique, with its art deco design and sapphire skeleton dial.

But what really sets this timepiece even further apart is that the case is mounted to the bracelet via an axle, allowing the twin-faces of the Antipode to pivot 180° after pressing the lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock. This brings the back side forward (see pics 10-13), and shows the local time.

The jumping hour mechanism activated by the level below the crown. Also displayed on the back side is the minute repeater, which chimes out the time after pressing the lever opposite the crown.

One of only 25 made, this piece does not often come up for sale.
