Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Pf Xiali Perpetual Calendar 2025 Full Set!

Up for sale here is an incredible timepiece by Parmigiani Fleurier. A relative newcomer to the world of horology, as they were founded in 1997. So far they have made some very nice and inventive pieces- this current offering being one of the most impressive! Ref. PFH982-1022401-100182.

This timepiece tracks the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar, starting with the 24 Solar/agricultural phases around the outside of the dial. Note that the third hand coming from the center of the watch tracks the Sun along the ecliptic via these 24 positions!

The 12 o’clock subdial shows a 60 year cycle with 10 Heavenly Stems and the 5 elemental pairings of Water, Wood, Metal, Fire, Earth.

The 3 o’clock subdial shows the day of the month, with a window indicating a short or long month!

9 o’clock shows the month, with a window to indicate a 13th intercalary month.

And of course- 6 o’clock shows the moonphase with a beautiful aventurine background of stars. I’ve had people criticize the double moon indication before- but I think it’s brilliant! With the double moon orientation, this actually shows the phase of the moon in both the Northern and southern hemispheres!

Cased in steel with a 950 platinum bezel and 100m water resistance, this watch works as a great daily piece, or the pinnacle of a collection. Personally, I think the guilloche Imperial Red dial is absolutely stunning- it is quite dynamic under changing light, and warrants far more gazes and stares than a “typical” steel watch.

Comes as a full set of box/papers as seen, and is in new and unworn condition.
