The Boutique Edition of the Tradition Seconde Rétrograde, the 7097BB/GY/9WU is a 40mm 18-carat white gold timepiece measuring 11.8mm in thickness — distinguished from the standard 7097BB/G1/9WU by its off-centred blue hour-minute sub-dial at 12 o’clock, hand-guilloché engraved on a rose engine, with Roman numeral hour markers and open-tipped Breguet hands rendered against the deep blue dial field rather than the silvered gold of the standard variant. The anthracite movement is displayed on the front of the watch in its entirety, with the retrograde seconds hand at 10 o’clock sweeping a graceful arc in blued steel before returning instantaneously to zero. A sapphire exhibition caseback provides a view from the reverse. Presented on a matching blue leather strap with white gold pin buckle. Retailing at 55,400 USD, this example is offered well below current retail. The self-winding 505 SR1 features an inverted in-line lever escapement with silicon pallet fork, silicon Breguet overcoil hairspring, comprising 38 jewels, beating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz), and delivering approximately 50 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 30 meters.
